After checking four different forecasts on the net for Saturday, we were still none the wiser on where to go, all forecasts were different offering winds from any direction bar east. Although there was a fair bit of interest on Thursday for getting on the water, for one reason or another we only ended up with Donnie, Mike and myself. We launched at Keose and headed accross the loch, where we were treated to the sight of three otters playing on the shore of Garbh Eilean. We proceeded through the narrow channel between Crobeag and Eilean Chaluim Chille stopping for lunch at the end of Cromor. After lunch and with the presure of household duties bearing down on Mike and myself we headed for Ranish finishing of with some rock-hopping and rolling practice. A short but very enjoyable paddle.
