An interesting winter trip Carloway to Campay,calm crossing with interesting paddling in the Arch and around the Carloway sea cliffs on the trip Murty,Mike,Robert,Christeen, Chris,Dolina,Adrian,Tibby and Alice.

A very enjoyable day trip Gress to Tolsta,on the trip Murty, Mike, Ian, Tibby, Jane, Howard, Christeen and Donald. 

Bennies storm gathering was attended by Mike, Murty, Robert, Adrian and Antonio,Bennie and Antonio had a trip on friday around the Huisinis Scarp area and were joined by Adrian on friday night.

A windy trip from callanish to bernera bridge on saterday on the trip was Murty, Donald, Robert, Tibby, and Janice, went under the bridge and paddled about 1mile further on where conditions got testing, had a lunch stop with three golden eagles flying close by,then headed back with the wind astern. 

The Rhenigadale weekend started of with a force 9 gale,wind direction from the NW was not suitable for the usual run down Loch Seaforth,so Mike,Robert and Bennie launched at meivig bay on the Hussinish road and paddled to Tarbert in large seas and showers of hail in the squalls,they survived.

Well done to Bennie who paddled to St Kilda solo this week, 8 hours from haisker to St Kilda and 13 hours on the return trip to boraray.

Saturday’s forecast was for light northerly winds… ideal for the 10 mile trip round Scarp. Only Christine and DA turned out at 9am and so it was off to sunny Husinis!

A group of young and old went to play at the Seaforth wave, Murty, Mike, Tim Robert, and the two young Calums, Dave,Christeen and Donald had paddled up from the fish farm to meet us in there sea kayaks.
