Sound of Harris Camping Trip Feb.2011

Murty,Robert, Bennie and Mark set of from Rodel for the Sound of Harris, Weather was se-6 Renish point wild big swell with breaking seas could not make Hermatray so camped on Lingaigh for the night,next day did a down wind run in force 7 to Leverburgh which did not take very long,enjoyable trip.

Little Bernera Weekend Jan. 2011

Ten paddlers camped out for the night and three joined us the following morning 13 paddlers for a trip out to Flodday then on to Berasay the channel to the old hill was out due to the large seas so off to Campay the arch and back to the slipway playing on a few skerrys on the way back.

Berneray Weekend Dec.2010

A quieter Berneray weekend without Steve Bridget and Antonio comeing up from the mainland flights were cancelled due to weather, There was 12 paddlers on the trip across, Mike,Murty,Robert,Doleana,Christeen,Chris,Bennie,Allan,Dave,Mark,Howard,and Tim. The trip across was rougher than the way back,the scenery was exeptional with everything covered in snow.

Rhenigadale weekend was well attended with dave takeing charge of the trip to Scarp where we had some choppy conditions and big swell,and Mark takeing charge of the trip from the hostel to Scalpay bridge and back this trip had some rough water along the coast both trips were run well. looking forward to the next one.
