Pool Sessions September 2010
To enable junior paddlers to get the most out of canoeing in the pool we are changing the way we organise our pool sessions for beginners.
We think that juniors will make better progress if they are in a smaller group and are able to come every week. The minimum age will continue [...]

Due to unforeseen circumstances Canoe Club at Cuddy Point this thursday has been cancelled.

Equipment bought with the help of a £500 grant from Scottish and Southern Energy.

Please note that there will be no Cuddy Point session this week (15 July).

THE OUTER HEBRIDES
SEA KAYAKING AROUND THE ISLES & ST KILDA
At 7pm on Monday 5 July 2010 Mike, Tim and Robert will be launching their new book in An Lanntair. After hearing about the book from the authors you will be able to buy a copy and retire, suitably inspired, for refreshments in the bar.

Very productive day today with 10 paddlers passing there FSRT,Alistair,Dolina,Howard,Dave,Tibby,Keven,Mark,Chris,Alice and Adrian.

If any of the club L4 coaches are willing to run some training sessions out with club nights in FSRT and 2* canoe/ kayak, to bring forward our new recruits that would be of help.Sessions can be posted on this site and anyone wishing to attend should contact coach that posted training.

The Stornoway Canoe Club 2010 AGM will be held in the Sea Angling Club, Stornoway, on Thursday 29 April 2010.
The meeting will start at 9.30pm, or as soon as possible thereafter (after the pool session).

Update on coaches meeting.- Meeting was well attended by existing coaches and a few adult members willing to go forward into the coaching scheme, the descision on the future of takeing on any more young members has been defered till a later date.
