If any of the club L4 coaches are willing to run some training sessions out with club nights in FSRT and 2* canoe/ kayak, to bring forward our new recruits that would be of help.Sessions can be posted on this site and anyone wishing to attend should contact coach that posted training.

The Stornoway Canoe Club 2010 AGM will be held in the Sea Angling Club, Stornoway, on Thursday 29 April 2010.
The meeting will start at 9.30pm, or as soon as possible thereafter (after the pool session).

Update on coaches meeting.- Meeting was well attended by existing coaches and a few adult members willing to go forward into the coaching scheme, the descision on the future of takeing on any more young members has been defered till a later date.

There will be a coaches meeting at Murtys 22 Swordale point on Monday 19th April 8pm,any other adults wishing to enter the coaching scheme are welcome. Taransay weekend camped on the west side of the island,on the trip Murty, Dave, Robert, Bennie, Mike and Steve, weather was choppy on the Saterday and calm and sunny the next day, done some surfing on the sand bar before heading home, enjoyable weekend.

Enjoyable day out from Lemraway to head of loch shell stopping at Stemrevay and the waterfall at the head of the loch,on the trip Murty, Tibby, Robert, Alex, Christeen, Mark and Keven.
