A Northerly Blow
March 24th, 2008With a bitterly cold northerly wind and reports from Mike that the Sound of Harris was jumping… we eventually decided the best option for the day was a run down Loch Seaforth and after some shuttling set off from Ardvoulie.
It was unusual to be heading down the loch and between snow showers we could see right across to Skye. Not quite as strong as Mike had feared the wind made the trip effortless, and despite a break at the old house at Ceann Mor we soon found ourselves at Rhenigdale with good views of the Shiants.
Another shuttle and we head home to the warm stove!
