Not windy enough
January 7th, 2007Even with a 9am start we had five eager paddlers keen to get the new year off to a good start and with a SW F5-7 forecast a blow along Loch Erisort seemed a good option - it also provided Alex with a handy get out half way! Despite the last minute addition of Mike the wind remained well below this and we enjoyed a quiet paddle along the loch practising some of the more esoteric suggestions from Gordons new book! It was not till we were approaching Ranis that the wind began to pick up and we entertained ourselves with hands only paddling whilst waiting for the first squall to reach us. No dramatic video on this trip,,, but a few pictures in the Gallery!
